We are looking for a reliable and tech-savvy Cyber Café Sales Attendant to deliver excellent customer service and digital solutions across our branches.
Location: BBS Mall, Eastleigh | Lavington - Westfield Mall | Naivasha Branch - Buffalo Mall Reports To: Supervisor Salary: KES 15,000 Gross (Must be aggressive with sales experience) Working Hours: Monday to Sunday, 6:30am – 8:00pm
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and tech-savvy Cyber Café Sales Attendant to join our team at the Eastleigh and Gitanga Road branches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while handling a wide range of services including DHL logistics, photocopying, scanning, eCitizen services, and other digital solutions. You will also be expected to maintain accurate weekly reports using Excel and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Guide clients through DHL shipment processes and ensure accurate data entry
- Offer eCitizen support including account setup, applications, and payments
- Operate printing, photocopying, and scanning machines efficiently
- Handle mobile money and cash transactions accurately and issue receipts
- Maintain proper records of all transactions and services provided daily
- Prepare weekly Excel reports detailing sales, services rendered, and stock status
- Monitor and manage time usage on computers
- Ensure all equipment (computers, printers, scanners, etc.) are clean and functional
- Troubleshoot basic issues or escalate technical problems as needed
- Uphold a tidy, organized, and professional working environment
- Promote and upsell available services to walk-in clients
- Follow up on client inquiries and provide timely feedback
Requirements
- KCSE Certificate; a certificate/diploma in ICT, Business, or Customer Service is an advantage
- Solid computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Previous experience with DHL or eCitizen services is a strong advantage
- Basic troubleshooting skills for common technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Honest, self-driven, and dependable
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Must be able to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Experience in handling cash and mobile money transactions
